There are peaks and valleys from heart-wrenching to heartwarming moments in the story. This is based on a true story of a Sāmoan-Scottish girl who grew up in an Ilocano-Sāmoan household and lived through 60 years of trauma. Most of the characters have been fictionalized. Heather hopes her story helps many others like her.
