Description

Wallace was born on the outskirts of Durham City eighty-one years ago. Married at the age of twenty-one to his childhood sweetheart, Pat, who he first met at the age of eleven, Celebrated their Diamond wedding anniversary in Sept 2024.
They never strayed more than five-miles distance from the city until they were almost forty years old with two boys. Then, employment took the small family to the south coast: E.Sussex for a decade then another ten years in lovely Hampshire.
Employment brought them back North and they are now living on the edge of a small rural town in beautiful East Lancashire, NW England.
An author of children’s books with ten published on Amazon, retirement gave Wallace the time to concentrate on writing.
His latest project is bringing his series of six Jimmy Crikey stories to market in audio formats with the help and direction of OutFox Studios (now closed because of the death of its proprietor).
The Siver award winning sixth Jimmy Crikey fantasy story, probably the penultimate in the series, was published in Jan 2024. He completed his memoir (Love Changed Everything) in Jily 2023 recounting events that moulded his life up to the age of seventeen : the year when Pat and he met for the second time and the year his father died.
